Gloria L. Harris
GLORIA L. HARRIS is the First Lady of Born Again Christian Center. She is one of 9 children born to her parents. She is also a big sister to 14 adopted brothers and sisters. Born in Arkansas on February 23, 1961 and raised in Dos Palos, California. Gloria moved to San Jose, California where she met and married Andre L. Harris, Sr.
Immediately, they started their ministry, working with the homeless of San Francisco the day following their wedding. They later worked as co-chaplains at Camp Glenwood in Lahonda, California, a juvenile camp for boys. She has done ministry work for girls in juvenile hall in Belmont, California. Now First Lady Harris is doing ministry work for Redwood City Women's Jail.
She is a board member and secretary for the nonprofit organization, Project K.E.Y.S., Inc., founded by Pastor Harris.
First Lady Harris teaches bible study to the women of "The BACC."
Besides her husband Andre and her family, the happiest thing that ever happened to her was when she met up with the Lord and He saved her. On June 30th 1985, she was saved from all of her sins and is glad about it. Not once has she turned around or turned her back to the Lord, but keeps her eyes and her goals focused on the Lord.
Her favorite scripture is SOS "Many waters cannot quench love; neither can the rivers drown it."
